POSITION OVERVIEW
Project Manager - Industrial Piping
(Oil & Gas | Power | Ethanol | Chemical Processing)
Affino is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial piping projects across oil & gas, power generation, ethanol, and chemical plant facilities. This role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Manage piping projects from kickoff through completion
Develop schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field teams
Oversee fabrication, installation, welding, and testing activities·
Ensure compliance with ASME codes (B31.1, B31.3) & safety standards
Lead subcontractors and field crews on active job sites
Manage RFIs, change orders, and client communication
Track project costs, progress, and performance
Support commissioning, startup, and project closeout
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Mix of office and field-based work
Travel to industrial job sites required
Extended hours during outages or critical project phases
Qualifications
10+ years of project management experience in industrial piping
Experience in oil & gas, power plants, ethanol, or chemical facilities
Strong understanding of P&IDs, isometrics, and piping systems
Knowledge of materials, welding, and inspection processes
Experience with project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, P6)

PREFERRED
PMP Certification
OSHA 30 or equivalent
EPC project experience
